What should I expect during my first massage appointment?
Massage should not be performed in the presence of certain medical conditions; therefore, your therapist will have you fill out a health history form. It is best to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. The therapist will ask you questions to determine what you hope to accomplish during your massage session.
What do I wear during the massage?
Most people choose to undress completely for full body massage but you should undress to your comfort level. The massage therapist will work around any clothing you choose to leave on. You will have privacy to undress, and the therapist will leave you covered with a sheet and blanket at all times except for the area being worked on.
What do I do during the massage treatment?
Relax! If your therapist wants you to adjust your position, she will either ask you to move or move you. Don’t hesitate to ask questions.

We believe in tailoring the massage to each individual. For this reason, we book appointments by time (30, 60, 90 min) and the therapist will determine the types of massage to use based on their own evaluation and your goals for the session.
How will I feel after the massage?
Most people feel very relaxed and comfortable. Some experience relief from long-term aches and pains. Often after an initial period of sleepiness people experience increased energy, greater productivity, and clearer thinking. There may be some soreness or bruising in the days after the session, especially if you receive deep massage, but this is uncommon. You are encouraged to call and speak with the massage therapist if you have any questions or concerns after your session.
